Reaction to 50 Cent’s 21 Questions

The 90s and early 2000’s were the golden age of hiphop. It was mainstream and as littles, we sponged up all the words before we could understand the meanings to the songs we sang.

In some ways, if a beat had you jamming, and the tune was nice, it would stick on you. This is how to this day, I find myself singing to throwback tunes I forgot I knew. Such fun!

The song 21 questions came out in 2003 and I can vividly remember my 13 year old self checking no to almost everything he said.

The song made love look so real and deep and important, and needing you to drown and I was unsure I’d be able to do love the way it should be done.

Fast forward and 15 years later, Dave, my pals and I go back to it and take that song apart piece by piece and try to fit it into our Kenyan millennial lives especially having found our forevers.

It was a load of fun!

As an aside, realizing how when I started this channel, my heart for it was the same as my website’s: Love. Laugh. Live and I’m stunned at how it’s come together.

I hope you guys enjoy it as much as we did.
